Cast iron octagonal bandstand on stone base. Slim columns and brackets with tracery suggesting lutes. Timber canopy with decorative band round circumference. Delicate cast-iron crown. Slate roof.

On the west entrance pier A brass plaque reads: "BURGH OF FALKIRK/ DOLLAR PARK/ OPENED/ MAY 1922/ BY/ G. RUSSELL ESQ./ PROVOST". A bronze bust of Sheila McKechnie OBE, a Scottish trade unionist, housing campaigner and consumer activist, born in Camelon in 1948. After working as a trade union official in the 1970s, during which she was active in the Women's Movement, she became director of the housing and homelessness charity Shelter in 1985. Upon her early death from cancer, the Sheila McKechnie Foundation was set up to support a new generation of campaigners.
