Immediately to the S of the site of the house was a standing stone, 2.0 m in height and 0.23 m thick. It was probably part of the formal landscaping of the grounds in the 19th century.

A second stone stood on a small knoll overlooking the River Avon. The knoll was surrounded by a short drystone retaining wall which appeared to provide a landscaped setting for the standing stone. c100 m S of the old house of Glen Ellrig. The stone measured 4 ft 6 ins in height by 1 ft 8 ins in width and 6.5 ins in breadth.

Sites and Monument Record: Woodend Standing Stone (SMR 1075)
"Two grey stones are found by the brink of the bog at Wyndford where the Bonny re-appears. They are right and left on opposite sides of the road from the highway to the Canal. The stone to the east, with pyramidal point, seems to be much smaller than the other but is deeply embedded in the soil. That to the west, which measures fully 8 ft long by 3.5 ft broad and 3.5 ft thick, is a sort of oblong column."
They are marked on the 1898 edition of the OS Survey maps.

This stone stands on a ridge to the W of the farmhouse of this name. It is a rectangular pillar measuring 1.45 m in height and 0.53 m by 0.30 m at ground level. It was probably a march stone.
Sites and Monument Record: Doghillock Standing Stone (SMR 766)
Large glacial boulder located a little to the south of the drive to Carriden House and east of the walled garden. It bears the words THE WITCHES STONE carved in neat upper case lettering. The style suggests a 20th century date for the lettering.
The stone was probably a boundary stone for Carriden Muir and was known as the Muir Stane. Later tradition associated it with witches and today that means it is the traditional site for the burning of the local witches.

A large stone stood to the north of the stables on the Stenhouse Estate and was known locally as "Ossian's Stone". It was considered to be an important piece of antiquity, though no one knew what it commemorated. It is no longer extant.

Cists are recorded in the Ordnance Survey Name Book near the Deacon Stone. They were found in 1833 when the earthern tumulus covering them was removed. The Deacon Stone was said to have surmounted this mound. The Falkirk Herald of 1868 mentions 17 cists.

This small hillock is located c550m WSW of the monument for the Second Battle of Falkirk. Near to its summit are two small standing stones. They are not worked or much worn, but have the initials CR enscribed on them. This is reputed to be the place from which Bonnie Prince Charlie observed the battle.
