Redding School

Biography
Redding School was a Junior Secondary School, established by 1928. Pupils of secondary age came from the villages of California, Shieldhill, Maddiston, Whitecross, Polmont, Brightons, Redding and Westquarter The school also took local primary age pupils until the beginning of Session 1947-48 when the primary pupils were transferred to other nearby schools and the school became Redding Secondary School. In June 1964 Redding Secondary School was closed and the pupils transferred to Woodlands High School or to Graeme High School. Its official school number was 6451.
