Rev J M Munro was originally called as Minister in the United Free Church of Scotland at Camelon Trinity in 1913 and served as such until 1929 when the UF Church joined the Church of Scotland. He carried on as Minister at Camelon Trinity until 1953.
He was adopted as Labour Candidate for East Renfrewshire in 1926 but failed to be elected MP.
He also served as Clerk of the Linlithgow & Falkirk Presbytery, 1929-1953
