William Paxton

Biography
William Paxton (1899-1918) was educated at Victoria School, Falkirk. Before joining army lived with his parents and was employed as a butcher's vanman (horse-drawn) by Grahamston & Bainsford Co-operative Society. Served as Private in 1/7 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Killed in France. Died of Wounds at 42nd Casualty Clearing Station following wounds sustained at the last battle of Arras.
