Clydeside Omnibuses Ltd was formed in 1961 by re-naming David Lawson Ltd, a bus company which had been incorporated in 1923 and was taken over by W Alexander & Sons Ltd in 1936. Clydeside Omnibuses Ltd was a member company of the Scottish Omnibuses Group.
