Andrew Greig Barr
Biography
Andrew Greig Barr (d 1893) was a son of Robert Barr who founded the aerated water business in Falkirk. In 1892 A G Barr took over Parkhead Works, Glasgow from his brother, Robert Fulton Barr, who had begun Parkhead Works in 1887. He was in the process of turning the private company of Robert Barr into a limited company when he died. The company was named AG Barr & Co Ltd when formed in 1904.
