Kidston Family
Biography
Kidstons of Logie. The Kidstons originated in the parish of Logie and later family members were prominent residents of Falkirk. The Honourable William Kidston (1849-1919) who attended Grosart's School in Falkirk, became Premier of Queensland, Australia, 1906-1907, and again, 1908-1911. He was given the freedom of his home town of Falkirk in 1908.
