Falkirk Rotary Club

Biography
The Rotary Club of Falkirk was established on 24 December 1924, and is a member branch of Rotary International and of District 102 of the Rotary Club in Great Britain. The Rotary Club was founded in 1905 by Chicago lawyer, Paul P Harris, and three friends. Their aim was to establish a club that would kindle fellowship among members of the business community. It was an idea that grew from Harris’ desire to find within the large city the kind of friendly spirit that he knew in the villages where he had grown up. Today there are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians, members of more than 29,000 Rotary clubs in 161 countries.
