Grangemouth : Abbotsgrange Middle School
Biography
Abbotsgrange Middle School was opened in 1974 and closed in 1988. The Middle School system was proposed for Grangemouth from 1968 and implemented in 1974. Using this system, S3-S6 pupils attended Grangemouth High School, P6-7 and S1-2 pupils attended Moray Middle School or Abbotsgrange Middle School and P1-P5 pupils attended the various Primary schools. Within the Middle schools the years were re-designated M1-M4.
