Biography
Established 1897. In 1947 George Smith used his demob money to buy over George Murdoch's cycle shop in the Cow Wynd. He persuaded Raleigh (then Hercules) to give him an agency and also got the contract from Rosyth Dockyard to repair and service all their cycles. In 1997 it was still a family business with his grandson Linton Smith in charge.
