3rd Stirlingshire (Falkirk) Rifle Volunteers (Victoria Company). Captain Alec Nimmo CO. In 1881 the 3rd Rifle Volunteers became the 4th Volunteer Battalion of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Then in 1908 the 7th Battalion of the Highland Regiment.
