Larbert Mine Rescue Association
|
The Coal Mines Act of 1911 required coal owners' associations to set up rescue stations and train men in rescue techniques. Larbert was an out station of the main, permanently staffed, station at Coatbridge. It was transferred to Coatbridge in 1924.
