Name Biography
Camelon High School
Camelon Public School was opened on 11 March 1876. By the 1930s pupils of secondary age were attending the Advanced Division of the school and the school was re-named Camelon Junior Secondary School. In June 1960 the primary department was closed. Some primary pupils transferred to Bantaskin School in 1958 and the rest transferred to Carmuirs Primary or Easter Carmuirs Primary in 1960. Camelon Junior Secondary School became Camelon High School in 1976 and was closed in 1989. The buildings became a Day Centre. The earliest school records were destroyed by a fire on 22 December 1905.
Braes High School
Braes High School opened in 2000. Initially it took the pupils from Woodlands High School which was closed in 2000, along with a number of senior pupils in the new catchment area who transferred from Graeme High School. The catchment area took in pupils from Slamannan, Avonbridge, Wallacestone, Polmont, Maddiston, Whitecross and the surrounding areas. Braes High School was built under the terms of PFI (Private Finance Initiative) by a private company, Class of 98. The building was leased to the Education Services for 25 years.

Woodlands High School
Woodlands High School was established in 1964 in the Rennie Street buildings previously used by Falkirk High School. It closed in 2000 and most pupils and staff transferred to the new Braes High School.
Graeme High School
Graeme High School was built in 1930 and was originally known as Falkirk Technical School. The name was changed to Graeme High School in 1957 (to avoid confusion with Falkirk Technical College). It became a comprehensive school in 1966 with its intake from the eastern end of Falkirk and from pupils leaving S4 at Woodlands High School.

Larbert High School
Larbert High School had its origins in Larbert Central Public School which was opened in 1886. The school dealt with advanced pupils and became Larbert Senior Secondary School and in 1948 was re-named Larbert High School. The School celebrated its centenary in 1986, dating its history to the opening of Larbert Central School in 1886. A new building was constructed under the Private Finance Initiative and opened in 2000
Grangemouth High School
Established in 1909 as a 5 year senior secondary school. Previously pupils attended Falkirk High for senior secondary years, and for many years Grangemouth pupils continued to transfer to Falkirk High School for the 6th year.
Falkirk High School
Falkirk High School was founded in 1886. The school used buildings in Park Street from 1886 until 1898 and then transferred to new buildings in Rennie Street, opened in 1898. In the early 1960s a new building was constructed in Blinkbonny Road and the old buildings in Rennie Street were then used by a new secondary school, Woodlands High School.
