Sites and Monument Record: Herbertshire Stable Doocot (SMR 29)
Description
A doocot was included in the farm court in the early 19th century, replacing an earlier one of which nothing is known. Octagonal in form, it had 7 dove holes and was situated above a pend. In February 1806 the farm was described as "complete and commodius, forming an elegant square, and slated, in the lawn, with a pigeon house".
