Description
An early 19th century 2 storey house, possibly originally single storey, set back from the road. It is primarily of historic interest as the one time home of Sir Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite and instigator of the Nobel Peace Prize. Nobel may have been responsible for the building's alterations and additions whilst living at the house during the setting up of his dynamite factory at Redding.
