Situated on the N bank of the Forth and Clyde Canal at Bankside, Bainsford.
The principal structure that remains is a large red brick warehouse. The margins are in yellow brick and the roof is two leaved.

Established 1875. Owned by the Falkirk Iron Co. Between 1931-33 the works lay idle. In 1934 McDowell Stevens and Co, a member of Allied ironfounders (as was the Falkirk Iron Co) put machinery into the buildings and worked it until closure in 1958.
