Sites and Monument Record: Bonnywood (SMR 746)
Description
When the top of the small knoll was being levelled in 1888 for Bonnywood Farm a large hollow was observed "showing a circular formation about 50 to 60 ft in diameter, the surrounding margin being at least 9 ins higher than the interior." A rotary quern was found in 1911 60 yds to the SE, and is now in Falkirk Museum.
