Sites and Monument Record: Herbertshire Stables (SMR 776)

Description
Now demolished, this stable block was designed in the Gothic fashion.
19th century, replacing an earlier one of which nothing is known. Octagonal in form, it had 7 dove holes and was situated above a pend. In February 1806 the farm was described as "complete and commodius, forming an elegant square, and slated, in the lawn, with a pigeon house".
