Sites and Monument Record: Carriden Medieval Village (SMR 1135)

Description
The old village of Carriden was located around the old graveyard beside Carriden House. The farm track to Stacks Farm formed the main street of the village. One of the house to the north of this street was located by excavation and found to have earth walls and a beaten earth floor.
