Built on the site of Nailer Row in what became Alloa Road in 1898-1900 for the Larbert School Board. The architects were McLuckie & Walker of Stirling and the builder JJ & P McLachlan of Stenhousemuir. It was officially opened on 25 September 1900.
During the Second World War the building was occupied by the Polish army and the pupils used the old building at Carronshore School.
