Subject notes
The Auld Lichts Burgher Church was an offshoot of the Erskine Church in 1804. Building was completed in 1805. The church building was the place where the Falkirk Free Church congregation formed after the Disruption in 1843. The Cistern Lane Church later became a Wesleyan Chapel, later almost became a Quaker meeting place, then became an EU church, then, in the 1850s, was converted into dwelling houses. From 1863 part of it was a music hall at nights. Meeting hall on upper floor.
