Letter from Alexander Shaw, HM Ship Windsor, at Plymouth to his brother James Shaw, Senior at Dalquhairn, advising that he is pleased that Paixhole can again be brought into the Dalquhairn estate and that he will lend him the money for its purchase and other expenses Also mentions that he hopes that James will purchase Bedcur and Cowpers Land opposite Loanend. Also passing on compliments to friends and acquaintances. Document in fragile condition.
