Site history notes
This was the southern terminus of the Scottish Central Railway, forming an end on junction with the Caledonian Railway. A station was opened on 3 March 1848 (sometimes known as Glasgow Junction Station or Scottish Central Junction). It closed to passengers on 18 April 1966.
