This church was opened on 15 November 1908 . There had been an active Church of Christ congregation in Dennyloanhead since the turn of the 20th century but they found their original meeting place was too small.
Polmont Old Parish Church
Polmont Parish was disjoined from Falkirk by the Commissioners of Teinds on 22 July 1724. In 1929 with the union of the Church of Scotland and the United Free Church of Scotland, the congregation took the name Polmont North Church, The name Polmont Old was adopted in 1977 when Polmont South changed its name to Brightons Parish Church. Redding and Westquarter was run as a church extension charge from Polmont North. Linked with Shieldhill from 10 September 1961 to1 November 1963. First church building completed 1734, second church building completed 1844.

Falkirk Graham's Rd Church
Graham's Road Church had its origins in the Anti-burghers who left Erskine Church in 1747. This congregation entered the United Secession Church in 1820 and then the United Presbyterian Church in 1847 at which point it became known as the Falkirk South United Presbyterian Church. The congregation occupied a building on Cow Wynd from 1782 until the Tattie Kirk was completed in 1806. The congregation moved to Grahams Road in the 1870s and became known as Grahams Road Church. Linked with Falkirk Grahamston on 5 September 1972. United with Falkirk Grahamston on 15 October 1975, forming Falkirk Grahamston United Church.
Falkirk St Andrew's Church
St Andrew's Church was formed as Falkirk Free Church of Scotland at the Disruption in 1843 (in the Auld Lichts Burgher Church in Cistern Lane, Falkirk) with a small number from Falkirk Parish Church, most of the quoad sacra congregation of Cistern Lane and a few dissenters from Erskine Church. The congregation entered the United Free Church in 1900 and the Church of Scotland in 1929. The congregation was united with the West Church on 3 Oct 1990 and took the name St Andrew's West.

The congregation first met in Cistern Lane. By November 1844 the congregation erected a new building in Garrison Place, known as Garrison Church, where they remained until 1896 when the present building on Newmarket St was erected. Missions included churches at Bainsford, Shieldhill, Camelon (Irving Church), Etna Rd, Thornhill Rd and Callendar Riggs

Edward Wright
Edward Wright was the son of William Wright, a merchant, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh on 22 July 1620. He was minister at Falkirk Parish Church, 1646-1662. Previously he was Minister at Clackmannan 1626 -1641, then translated to the east quarter of Glasgow (High Church), 1641-1642 (St Mungo's). From Falkirk he went on to be Principal of Glasgow University , 1662-1683. [Source: Fasti Vols 1 & 4]
Falkirk Camelon Irving Memorial Church
Established during the 1870s as a Free Church mission charge. Around 1887 the mission was formally recognised and the first minister was inducted in 1890, the same year as the church was built. The church was named after Rev Lewis Hay Irving, the first minister of Falkirk Free Church. Dorrator Rd. United with Camelon St John’s in 2003 to form the new congregation of Camelon Parish Church Photographs of Rev Lewis Hay Irving, the first minister and Rev John Muirhead are in A10.78.

Bo'ness Old Parish Church
By 1643 a church had been erected in Bo’ness, within the quoad omnia parish of Kinneil and in 1649 the parish of Bo'ness was disjoined from the parish of Kinneil by Act of Parliament. In 1669 the two parishes were re-united as a quoad omnia parish with the name of Bo'ness Parish. The congregation took the name Bo'ness Old Parish Church in 1929 following the union of the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland.

The Church of Scotland kirk session for Bo'ness sat within the presbytery of Linlithgow and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale until 1929, when it became part of the presbytery of Linlithgow and Falkirk. In 1976 it became part of the presbytery of Falkirk.

The old parish church in Corbiehall was erected in 1636-38 and alterations made in 1672, 1776 and 1820. The present church building on Panbrae Rd was built in 1885.

Robert Bell
Robert Bell (1815-1887) was educated at Edinburgh, he was called to the Bar in 1836. Lived in Shetland for where he presided at Lerwick Sheriff court for 22 years. Served as Sheriff-Substitute in Falkirk since 1865. Was, for several years, chairman of the directors of Falkirk Industrial School. He was an elder of Falkirk Parish Church.
