This is a substantial 2-storey stone villa of c1910 overlooking Zetland Park. The south facade has two protruding gables, one advanced slightly more than the other. This gable, gable 1, houses a series of three vertical leaded windows in a broad shallow bay against set against ashlar masonry. The windows have chamfered sills on the ground floor; moulded sills on the first; and millions above. A rectangular recessed panel occupies the apex above the windows. The broad bargeboarded eaves overhang and are brackets to either side of the bay, emphasising the change in pitch of the roof. The second gable has a shallow rectangular bay window on the ground floor with a moulded sill, wooden frame and lead roof. Above this is a broad window with a moulded sill and a hoodmould. A circular moulded panel with four keystones fits into the apex of the gable. To the right is a tall glass conservatory. Set back on the left is the porch. The west facade also has two prominent gables, each with the circular panel in the apex. The lower levels are treated as in the second gable. The plain stone porch occupies the re-entrant angle and has a hipped slated roof capped with lead. All of the walls facing the road are of snecked rubble, except for ashlar of the first gable, with a chamfered plinth course. Rear walls are rendered. The roof is slated with a ceramic ridge.

The hall for Polmont Church was built on the north side of the Main Street of the village, 420m SW of the church, in order to serve the local community. It opened on 11th May 1899 to a design by James Strang, architect, Falkirk. The main gable facade faces onto the road and has a tall three-light window with a hoodmoulded inset roundel containing a quatrefoil above. The inscription on the roundel reads "PARISH CHURCH HALL/ POLMONT". The gable is of snecked rubble and is surmounted by a crocheted cross. A small porch on the south east corner provided access under an ogival lintel. This is now closed off and access is via a new hall to the west.
